McDaniels' double-double lands him (Qualifying Round) Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old American forward KJ McDaniels (197-F-1993) put on an amazing game in the last round for Pelita Jaya Bakrie Jakarta and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7 (Qualifying Round).
He had a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat HK Eastern (#7, 0-3) 76-71. Pelita Jaya is placed at 5th position in Basketball Champions League Asia. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Pelita Jaya already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game McDaniels had a remarkable 52.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Pelita Jaya, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Clemson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. McDaniels is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 12.3rpg) and averages solid 1.7bpg and 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was James Gist (206-C-1986) of Prawira Bandung. He is American center in his first season at Prawira. Third place about best performers goes to guard Damion Rosser (195-G-1999) of Negeri Sembilan Matrix (#6). Rosser scored 25 points. He was a key player of NS Matrix, leading his team to a 91-87 win against slightly lower-ranked Prawira (#8, 1-2). NS Matrix needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost games. Rosser has a very solid season. In 7 games in Basketball Champions League Asia he scored 11.4ppg.
